The Fire Engine was introduced in 1952 and subsequently renumbered to 955 in 1954.
The 555 model had cast hubs with a two piece silver ladder that can be extended.
In 1954, the model was renamed to 955 with many variations over the next several years.
Windows and plastic hubs were included in later models.
Both models showed their identification number on baseplate - 555 and 955.
Model #555 was issued between 1952-54 and Model #955 was issued between 1954-70.
