The Leyland Comet Wagon was introduced in 1952 and subsequently renumbered to 932 and eventually to 418 in 1956.
This model was available in many solid body colours and cab/tipper combinations including blue, green, red and orange. The tailboard was hinged so that it would open and close. The model numbers were usually displayed on the bottom of the tipper load with minor casting changes. Note the #418 showed “DINKY TOYS” and the #532 had “DINKY SUPERTOYS” on the cast base.
Model #532 was issued between 1952-54;
Model #932 was issued between 1954-56;
Model #418 was issued between 1956-59;
