The Leyland Comet Wagon 531 was introduced in 1949 and subsequently renumbered to 931 and eventually to 417 in 1956.
This model was available in many solid body colours and cab/wagon combinations including blue, green, red and yellow. Early versions used a bolt and nut to fasten the load to the chassis and later models used rivets. Note the #417 removed “SUPERTOYS” from the cast base.

Model #931 was issued between 1954-56;
Model #417 was issued between 1956-59;
