The Foden Flat Truck was introduced in 1952 and subsequently renumbered to 905 in 1954. This model came in a green and red with later versions in blue and two-tone. There were two types of grilles used on the cab. The chain added realism to the model and usually broke and was lost. Commonly, one or two posts on the flat bed were missing as they often broke-off with rough play.
Model #505 was issued between 1952-54 and Model #905 was issued between 1954-63.
