The Foden Diesel 8-Wheeled Wagon was introduced in 1947 and subsequently renumbered to 901 in 1954. This model was available in various colour combinations including red, blue, orange, black, yellow and grey between the cab and the chassis. There were two types of grilles used on the cab -- early versions used a rectangular flat grille, while later version were more detailed with lines and openings .
Model #501 was issued between 1947-54 and Model #901 was issued between 1954-57.
