The Ford Fairlane RCMP Police Patrol Car was introduced in 1962. This model was available in a dark blue body colour with white doors, red roof siren and the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) logos. There is a similar RCMP Police Patrol car in the ‘Cadillac’ version.
The Fairlane cast was used in three other issued Dinky models - the #147 street version, the #258 US Police car in 1960 and the #264 Ford Fairlane Canadian RCMP car.
Model #264 was issued between 1962-67.
