The Morris Oxford Saloon was introduced in 1950 and subsequently renumbered to 159 after 1954.
The early models were solid colours including shades of green, grey, and brown with similar coloured ridged hubs.
Later versions of the model included two-tone colours such as cream/green.
Model #40g was issued between 1950-54 and Model #159 was issued between 1954-59.
