The Land Rover was introduced in 1950 and subsequently renumbered to 340 in 1954.
The 27d model had a green or orange body with a tin windshield and a brown cast driver.
The 340 version continued to have the same attributes but later versions developed more variations including plastic or cast blue driver and red body.
Model #27d was issued between 1950-54 and Model #340 was issued between 1954-71.
