The Aneling-Barford Diesel Roller was introduced in 1948 and subsequently renumbered to 251 in 1954.
The early models were available in green and orange body colours with red or orange rollers.
The front roller wheel would turn allowing movement. The top canopy was often missing as it broke off during rough play.
Model #25p was issued between 1948-54 and Model #251 was issued between 1954-63.
