The #4 Talbot Lago Car was part of the popular racing series issued by Dinky.
The Talbot Lago was introduced in 1953 as model 23k in a light blue body with silver exhaust pipes.
The driver was in white and part of the body casting.
In 1954, the model was renumbered to 230 until it was eventually renumbered again to model 205 (the model number 230 continued to be displayed on the baseplate) where it was sold in a blister package with plastic hubs.
The model numbers 23k and 230 were clearly displayed on the baseplate.
Model #23k was issued between 1953-54, Model #230 was issued between 1954-62 and Model 205 was issued between 1962-64.
